The Great Big Computer Drive

Alongside the CSV at the BBC, Joining Hands will be running an IT donations drive across Kent in January.

All donations of IT equipment will be used for the BUILD IT project, dedicated to supporting young people back into work and providing free training for vulnerable communities with limited IT access.

If you have any IT equipment you would like to donate, find out more here or at www.builditkent.co.uk.

About us

We are a team of professionals, teachers, practitioners and young people who are passionate about people and believe that communities can provide the solutions to community problems.

Joining Hands was created with the aim of empowering individuals so that they are able to achieve economic well being, reintegrate with an active form of citizenship, and follow their dreams and aspirations.

We run Community led projects such as our East Malling Community Allotment: Communigrow, and beneficiary led Social Enterprises such as BUILD IT and Unum Designs.

We offer Creative Courses, Computer courses, Housing, and Health and Social Care NVQs, as well as running dedicated projects such as Women for Change and Building Futures.

If you have an idea for a Community project in Kent or would like some advice about Self employment, why not get in touch!
