Film making project

The film project will help develop the auditory and visual skills of young people as well as helping them write and deliver a project.

Participants will gain confidence in working together to develop an idea as well as interviewing skills, decision making and participating in the process as a whole.

Before any of the teaching gets under way, learners will come together and agree on a project that they would like to work on. The project will have to be one that is based on reality.

Much of the work will be done outdoors. The final films will be shown at a public event for all participants on all of our projects.

Upon successful completion, each participant will be given a digital camcorder and software to edit and publish their home made movies. A visit to movie studios will be organised.
