Social Enterprise
We passionate about Social Enterprise. Our Social Enterprises support communities, provide free formal and informal vocational training, and support for people wishing to gain income from their new skills. We particularly support youth enterprise, and offer free advice to young people in and around Kent wanting to set up and run their own social enterprises.
Support
If you are a part of a group of young people who need support initiating a social enterprise or community project, we are happy to help!
What we can give you:
- Explanation of social enterprise and its benefits to the young people and communities.
- We will run an informaiton session on business planning and its benefits.
- Information on business set up and forming governing bodies.
Social Enterprise and Community projects can provide young people with valuable life skills and responsibilities rarely afforded to young people.
Communigrow was set and managed up by 19 year old Louise Rowe-Leet, now Joining Hands Trustee. Her enthusiasm, perseverance and dedication was inspirational, and we hope her story and her project can inspire more young people to run with their ideas and create something a whole community can enjoy.
