We run a wide range of workshops. The workshops can be adapted to suit the needs of your client group. We offer half day, full day and evening workshops in a variety of skills and pass times.
All of our workshops are flexible and can be run from community centres anywhere in Kent.
In the early 1800s, clothing was made by hand. Families sewed their pants, shirts, and dresses using a needle and thread. But in 1846 American Elias Howe changed all that, he came up with another way to make clothes, he patented the first practical sewing machine. The sewing machine industry, based on his original invention, made possible the mass production of clothing on a much larger scale than had ever been possible with hand-stitching.
The World's Biggest Knitted Christmas Tree raised nearly £7,000 for The North Devon Hospice. Over 700 knitters helped to knit the tree, using 1,400 knitting needles and roughly 6,000 balls of wool. the oldest knitter was 100 years old.
